BELVEDERE 

Built by the famous architect Lukas von Hildebrandt for Prince Eugen, victorious against the turkish thread to Austria, the palace hosts today the magnificent collection of Austrian art. 

A detailed introduction of the architecture and masterpieces of  art of the 19th century.

Background and famous artists , social and cultural development and city development. 


Upon request a visit of the gallery of medievial art shall be included.

LEOPOLD MUSEUM

The reknown modern building of Ortner&Ortner is located in europes largest cultural disctrict , the former royal stables of the court of Vienna,  a huge collection of museums, squares, arts of all centuries and continents.

The collection Leopold is world famous for the paintings and drawings of Egon Schiele and Gustav Klimt, yet presents also rare and less known extraordinary works of art of the 19th and early 20th century.

From the coffeeshop of top of the building a splendid view over Vienna allows a short introduction in the cities history and most important buildings.


KUNSTHISTORISCHES MUSEUM VIENNA

The impressive buildings from the second half of the 19th century were once designed to join the royal castle with triumphal arches.

Since the middle of the 19th century world trade shows are becoming fashion, and museums are built to display the art collections of ruling dynasties to the public. 

The guiding includes the history of architecture and town developement as well as the most famous paintings within the museum.


ALBERTINA

The largest and most famous collection of drawings and graphic arts in the world was established by Prince Albert von Sachsen Teschen, married to an Austrian princess. He renovated the town palace today hosting the museum of his collection and other  spaces, with sublime taste. The rooms display a fine example for royal living strechting their style from the late Rokoko to fine neo classicism. 

The visit shall always include a choice of the ongoing exhibitions.


PAINTING GALLERY OF THE VIENNA ACADEMY OF FINE ARTS

The Tryptichon of the apokalypsis of Hieronymus Bosch is one of the most famous paintings of the visionary of heaven and hell to be seen in the gallery of the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna.

The exhibition hosts rare works of famous artists like Cranach, Tizian, Rubens, Rembrandt , Guardi and many others. 

The visit and guiding includes the current exhibition " The picture is a time machine". 

The confrontation of old paintings with contemporary art creates a tension revealing hidden messages and new views  on assumed contents.
